Central Florida has just about every sport you could imagine on your door step or a short drive away. There are four professional teams in Orlando. The Orlando Magic (National Basketball Association) has been a staple of Central Florida for over twenty five years and attending games at Amway Arena always results in a good time. Also calling Amway Arena home are the Orlando Solar Bears of the East Coast Hockey League, which offers visitors one of the fastest and most exciting sports in the world. The final team at Amway Arena is the Orlando Predators (Arena Football League.) Arena football is a completely unique sport. It is high energy, high scoring, and highly fun to watch. At Amway Arena, all games are inside so attending games there allow you to escape from the heat for a few hours. The newest team in Central Florida is the Orlando City Soccer Club (Major League Soccer.) Their diehard fan base (known as The Ruckus) helps create an engaging atmosphere providing fun for the whole family. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (National Football League) are only an hour away from Central Florida in beautiful Tampa Bay. This team has a lot to offer: their stadium is one of the best in the league and they have a young, up and coming team. Just don’t forget to bring your sun screen to their outdoor arena! The Tampa Bay Lightning (National Hockey League) is also located in downtown Tampa Bay, but offers a completely different feel from every other sports team in the community. The Lightning franchise has built an incredible fan base, they have one of the best arenas in their league, and the team is one of the best in the NHL.
