Dinning

In Central Florida there are many dining options. Here are some suggestions.

Quick Eats/Fast food

Central Florida is no different from any other place in the world; we have McDonald’s, Burger King, etc. However, there are some quick eats that may not be available in your home town. Chipotle Mexican Grill specializes in made to order burritos, quesadillas, and tacos. What makes this place extra special is that all ingredients are prepared fresh daily. Firehouse Subs takes a different spin on some of your favorite sandwiches: all the meats are steamed and combined in ways you may not have expected. Pei Wei is the sister restaurant of P.F. Chang’s Asian Cuisine. It’s a chance to have upscale food in a quick eat setting and a far cry from you stereotypical fast food restaurant. Here are some other quick eats for you to try:

Moe’s (organic Mexican grill)

Jimmy John’s (Subs and Sandwiches)

Steak ‘n Shake (American Dinner)

Johnny Rocket’s (American Dinner)

Sweet Tomato (Family Friendly Salad Bar)

Sit Down Restaurants

At the end of a long day at the parks, it’s great to go to a restaurant where you can sit down, unwind, and refuel for the next day. Outback Steakhouse is an Australian based restaurant, where you can get great steaks, ribs, and seafood with an Aussie twist. B.J’s Brew House is based on Chicago style food. From their deep dish pizzas to their amazing salads, it’s great for the whole family. What sets them apart from the rest is that they brew their own beers and ciders in house, plus seasonal brews throughout the year. Chili’s is a traditional American style restaurant with fresh food and an innovating menu. They have something for everything to enjoy. Miller’s Ale House is traditional sports bar known for their huge nachos and delicious zingers (boneless chicken wings.) This restaurant is appropriate for the whole family and if you love sports, it is a must do. Here are some other restaurants for you to try:

Applebee’s (Traditional American)

Logan’s Roadhouse (Texas style steak house)

Local Eats

There are many hidden gems that the locals know about but visitors to Central Florida might not be familiar with. 3 Sister’s Speakeasy is located in downtown Kissimmee and is a local favorite. Their unique craft cocktail menu, wine bar, and craft beers offer a perfect match with any of their menu items. As a bonus, you can order sushi from the sushi bar next door! Maybe you would prefer something more upscale? 3 Sister’s also has a separate martini bar for a more intimate setting to enjoy your company and drinks. This place really has it all. With great food, amazing drinks, and live music throughout the week, all you need to do is bring your friends or family and have a good time. Johnny’s Filling Station and Johnny’s Other Side are located in South Downtown Orlando (or as locals say: SoDo.) These neighboring burger bars are designed with eclectic interior and their welcoming staff treat all guests like locals. They have been voted to have the best burgers in Orlando, but also have a full menu of other favorites. Café Tu Tu Tango is located on Orlando’s I-Drive and offers an artistic and eccentric dining experience. While enjoying tapas style dining, artists paint, belly dancers entertain, and magicians mystify guests. This is truly a one of a kind restaurant.

Dinner Theatre

If you want to be truly entertained while enjoying your meal, visit one of the many theatrical restaurants in Orlando. Medieval Times is the most well-known and frequently visited dinner theatre in Orlando. Travel back to times when knights in shining armor competed in jousting competitions all while enjoying an authentic medieval feast. Capone’s Dinner and Show treats its guests to a mobster inspired, toe-tapping, musical production, while enjoying a three course meal. Sleuth’s Mystery Dinner Show allows guests to enjoy a meal, while interacting with performers and trying to solve a whodunit murder case! At Pirate’s Dinner Adventure guests find themselves in the presence of an accurately replicated pirate ship with the evil Captain Sebastian the Black as he leads his crew on a swashbuckling adventure before your very eyes! When visiting these unique dinning locations, don’t be surprised if you become a part of the show!
